Reflection of thoughts on technology

EDU 235:

1. Reflect and write some specifics about your thoughts, feelings and experiences with technology up to this point.
2. Note your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to using technology.
3. Finally, what are your thoughts about integrating technology into the classroom?

First post- I believe that technology has a huge positive impact on children when they are introduced and become familiar with it at such a young age. I have been raised having technology in my house and using it regularly which I believe has benefited me when in the workforce. I have a strength when it comes to making and organizing power points and presentations using this technology.

Reflection: I still agree with my first idea on how technology is such a large impact on children. I believe that using technology within a classroom helps to gain the child’s attention and desire to lean. While children have become obsessed with video games, computers, and cellphones using technology within a classroom will show the students that there are other things you can use these devices for instead of just Facebook, texting, or Call of Duty. While introducing the students to these educational websites this can help even when it comes to questions regarding homework or studying for a test.
